ADHD-Friendly Routines & Impulse Control

ADHD-Friendly Routines & Impulse Control

  • 19 Steps

About

Welcome. This course teaches practical skills for ADHD-style brains: short routines, simple “start” buttons, and tiny “impulse brakes.” It’s psychoeducation, not therapy, and not a crisis service. You can pause or skip any step. Our goal is to help you build repeatable habit loops you can do on busy days, use dopamine stacking (small, healthy rewards around hard tasks), follow the one-touch rule for clutter and email (handle once; put it where it lives), and install fast impulse brakes you can use anywhere (Pause–Plan–Proceed, Delay-10, and phone “friction” changes). We’ll explain every idea in plain language and give one small action per step so you can practice without overwhelm. Scope & Privacy: We align with the National Safety and Quality Digital Mental Health Standards (NSQDMH) and the Privacy Act 1988 / Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). We don’t collect identifiable health details in lessons. Crisis (Australia first): 000 • Lifeline 13 11 14 • Suicide Call Back 1300 659 467 • Beyond Blue 1300 22 4636 • 13YARN 13 92 76 • Kids Helpline 1800 55 1800 • 1800RESPECT 1800 737 732.
